How each rating is worked out

The rating leans hardest on how clearly an operator states the conditions attached to any offer: whether a wagering requirement is disclosed in one place, whether it applies to deposits as well as bonus funds, and whether the terms are linked from wherever the offer appears. An operator that leaves these details vague scores worse here than one that states them plainly, whatever the offer looks like on the surface. Payout speed and the breadth of games on offer are also factored in, but they carry less weight than contract clarity, because a fast withdrawal or a wide game library does not help a reader caught out by a wagering requirement they never saw before they deposited.
